Customer Service

My work is my expression, my joy, my freedom. It is very important to me that I do not put boundaries or limits onto the finished products aside from quality and uniqueness. My work does vary, change, move and transform. However, it is still my priority to offer quality products, excellent customer attention, attractive and weather-proof packaging and timely shipping.

Payments and refunds

I accept funded and credit card payments via paypal, credit cards, and Money Orders.
Please pay within 24 hours. I will send one reminder and if it is ignored for more then 24 hours I will re-list the item/s.

If an items has a defect we will be happy to accept your return and refund your item cost. If you would like to return your item for personal taste reasons, I will accept any unused (not cast on or wound), unwashed or un-knit/spun items. Please note that buyer pays return shipping.

Shipping

Orders are generally shipped within 3 days because I ship 2 times a week via usps first class or priority mail. If you have an exceptionally large box of goodies, I will be happy to arrange UPS or FedEx delivery. International shipping to all countries is available.
I make a great effort to provide you with the most reasonable shipping cost I can. If you have paid 1.00 or more over your actual shipping costs I will refund the over payment. Often times I pay more for your item to be shipped then what I charge you.

A note on the hand dyeing process

My work is often spontaneous. I find colors to be the most amazing and inspiring when allowed to meld, allowed to transform and with little rules. I do not consider slight spotting, blending colors or variations within and between dye lots to be a defect. My colorways will not always be the same, and I do not intend them to be. Uniqueness and variety are an enjoyment in the process, I hope they are yours too!

If you need to ensure your project has closely matching skeins/fibers please be sure to order enough at one time to get the closest matching lot. Skeins will never be identical, but each a part of an overall color scheme. Please take time to alternate skeins while knitting or crocheting, it is something that should be done even with commercially dyed yarns- hand dyed yarns are no exception.

If you are ordering a custom item from me, please be mindful of the above statements. Dye to order yarns may vary slightly from the photograph shown. I give 3 or more photos as examples of how colorways will shift from one dye lot or yarn base to the next.

Professional dyes are always used. Care is taken to ensure all dyes are properly set and rinsed. Please use cool water and only mild wool wash when needed. Minor run off is expected on some darker and more brilliant colors but should not stain other areas of the yarn. If it does please contact me and we'll get it fixed for you!
